Sharon is Sales and Marketing Director for P&S Personnel Ltd, her Norfolk-based recruitment agency.
Frustrated with the local networking in the Thetford area, Sharon met with Susan Glossop, Thetford’s Town Manager, and together they devised the concept of the Thetford Women in Business Forum.
Sharon says: "Having spent nearly nine years in recruitment I understand only too well how important it is to build relationships with people and I felt that women needed a forum where they could not only share ideas but gain inspiration and support from each other.
I thoroughly enjoy working with the Women in Business Group - we are East Anglia's largest independent women's organisation which continues to grow each meeting through referrals and recommendation - and I am very proud to be part of such a positive network."
The Women in Business Forum is such a vital element to Sharon's life that through the support she received she launched her own business, P&S Personnel Ltd, in March 2006, based in Great Yarmouth. Sharon went on to open her second branch in Thetford in March 2007 and is currently working on further expansion plans both within and outside the recruitment sector.
