Monday 4th August 1914 was the day war was declared against Germany, it's 100 years since that day and World War One centenary events are being held all over the country.
Thetford Remembers 1914-1918 is a collaborative of various organisations within the town coming together to commemorate the events that took place 100 years ago.
- Friday 8 August - House Alive! Outbreak of World War One at Ancient House Museum (Tues-Sat, 10am - 5pm)
- Saturday 30 August - 6 September - Art Exhibition at St Peter's Church (10am - 3pm except 3.9.14).
- Saturday 6 September - All the Fun of the Fete 1914, Kings House Gardens and Ancient House Museum (10am - 4pm)
